Avoca Beach Picture Theatre continues to earn its reputation as one of the Central Coast’s most happening live venues with Gin & Jazz – the Music of Sting on Saturday, 20 January.

Media release

Gin, Jazz and the Music of Sting has been described by Avoca Beach Picture Theatre as the “perfect trifecta” and tickets are only $39.

The balmy summer evening begins with free gin tasting in the garden at 6:30pm, compliments of Distillery Botanica. Specialty cocktails will be available for purchase using their award-winning gins.

From 8pm you will be able to enjoy the gentle jazz of Sting’s memorable songs, arranged by musical director, Rodric White on piano, sung by Vince Harris with his raspy emotive voice, Brendan Berlach on sax and Fiona Lugg on double bass – with some special solos.

Songs will include the Moon Trio – Sister Moon, Moon Over Bourbon Street and Walking On The Moon, and many more of Sting’s hits – Fragile, Until, Every Little Thing She Does is Magic, Fields of Gold, and What Are You Doing The Rest of Your Life.

This show is expected to sell out so don’t delay securing your tickets.
