Wiseberry Peninsula is holding a Christmas appeal, and the team are calling on the Central Coast community to help by donating non-perishable festive food items.

Donations collected through the Christmas appeal will go towards supporting Mary Mac’s Place in Woy Woy during the holiday period.

Federal Member for Robertson, Dr Gordon Reid MP, says this time of year can be difficult for many in the community.

“Christmas time can be a challenging period for some and there are many in the community who might not be able to enjoy a Christmas lunch or dinner with loved ones”, Dr Reid said.

“By donating and supporting the Wiseberry Peninsula Christmas Appeal, you are ensuring that people who may otherwise go without this Christmas, receive a hamper full of festive food items”.

“If you are able to donate, please make a donation to the Wiseberry Christmas Appeal by visiting the business”, Dr Reid said.

Wiseberry Peninsula Property Manager, Tammy Jackett, says the appeal is about supporting our community during Christmas.

“At Christmas time many people who are homeless, experiencing domestic violence, vulnerable children, and older people may need a little extra support to get them through the public holidays and holiday season”, Ms Jackett said.

“The Wiseberry Peninsula Christmas Appeal will do just that and assist Mary Macs Place during the Christmas and New Year period”.

“This Christmas appeal is about spreading Christmas cheer and helping those in the community who need support this time of year”, Ms Jackett said.
