Free money clinic for women

A Money Clinic Morning Tea will be held at Club Wyong on Monday, 16 October, for women who need information and assistance to prevent or combat financial abuse.

Financial abuse is a common form of family or domestic violence and coervice control encountered by many women.

An abusive partner may control their money or prevent access to financial resources.

Then there’s sexually transmitted debt where a women in a violent relationship can end up responsible for debts incurred without her full consent.

The event will be run by the Centre for Women’s Economic Safety founded Rebecca Glenn.
